Important — Please Read Before Filing
EEK Mechanical will pay the Disputes Tribunal filing fee ($45–$180) upfront on your behalf. However, under §17.9A of our Terms of Service (which you accepted at the time of booking), if the Tribunal upholds EEK Mechanical's position — in whole or in substantial part — you are required to reimburse that filing fee.
Additionally, if you have initiated or intend to initiate a bank or card dispute (chargeback) in parallel, §7.20 of our Terms provides that if EEK Mechanical successfully defends that dispute, you are liable for EEK's documented response costs — including payment-processor fees, staff time at NZD $150/hr, and a minimum administration fee.

Nothing in this notice limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or Fair Trading Act 1986.
